Graduate Electrical Engineering chance

Hi everyone,

I'm currently a senior at UT Austin, majoring in Electrical Engineering. I'm planning on going to Graduate school, preferably in Texas (in-state tuition). Since I know I probably won't get into UT's graduate program (they look for people with 3.7 and above), I'm looking at other options. Does anyone know how hard it is to get into UTD's graduate EE program?

I currently have a 3.3/4.0 GPA at UT Austin. I haven't taken my GRE yet, but I'm pretty sure I should be able to meet the requirements for that. I think I have a pretty good experience in the industry. I've had an internship as a DSP Software Engineer. I'm also an international student. So what do they mostly look at when they review my application? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Clay
