Electrical Engineering.

Hi, I just have 2 questions:

1.Is it okay to take Biology and Maths IIC for Electrical Engineering instead of Physics and Maths IIC? The problem is in the time and the deadlines, I am already ahead in the Biology but I will sure take all the physics I can before entering college. Will it put me in any disadvantage?

2.Do you choose your major right away when you enter engineering college or do you take the basics in the first year and then choose your major (for example: Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, etc) ?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section :) Thanks!

Bump…

Sorry, I cannot answer this question. You may want to look at admissions websites to ensure you’ll have all your reqs finished by graduation.

I am sure this depends on the school. At my university, students enter with a specialty, so their major is listed as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. But overall, everyone in engineering has a pretty similar schedule for the first 2 years or so.
