Eligibility by Examination Alone VS. Regular Eligibility

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I'm an out of state student applying to Berkeley. I do NOT have the arts credit for the a-g subject requirement. My UC score does meet the requirement for eligibility by examination alone. Does this mean that I can apply just as if I did meet the subject requirement? If it does mean that I can apply the same, am I looked at equally by the admissions officers when compared to other students who have all of the a-g subject credits? </p>

<p>Yes, you can apply, but dunno how apps are read relative to other OOS apps.</p>

<p>You should definitely apply. It's very hard to get in OOS, I doubt very much if one art class is going to be the determining factor.</p>
