So I have about a month left until the SAT's, and I am undoubtably unprepared. Begining mid summer I "started" (I loosely use this term) SAT prep--This consisted of re-learning grammar rules and reading some of DH. Once Junior year sprung up, my SAT prep immediently stopped.

I've created this thread as a sort of blog/inspiration for myself and for others. I feel that if I have somewhere to report my progress that I will be more prone to actually reviewing--Sort of like you guys are putting pressure on me and If I slouch a day I'll have to report it here.

If anyone wants to take up this challenge with me, please feel free to just post your progress here.

I'm going to try to take atleast 1 practice test a day, and go over it the next day. This will probably be a loose regimen where some days I may take one and go over one, and some days I may skip it completely. I'm looking to finish both blue books that I own.

AP's are over, so I have an incredible amount of free time at home, and at school.

I've got a 180-190 PSAT, without prep. My goal is to take down the beast and walk away with a 2400. Although I'd be insanely pleased with 2300+, but why shoot for imperfection amiright?

I’m in the same boat as you. ^ ^‘’
I started studying a couple days ago after my AP’s finished as well. I would guess that I started around a 2000 since that’s what I got on my PSAT a couple months ago. 60 Writing 60 Critical Reading and 80 Math. Since math isn’t much of a problem, I went through a writing workbook and a critical reading workbook. I took a practice test from the blue book today and my score jumped significantly :D. 720 CR, 800 Math, 730 Writing. I didn’t write an essay since I haven’t worked on it yet so I gave myself a 10. The MC was pretty easy. Once you learn what the common mistakes are and can recognize them, the writing MC becomes much less daunting. 2 out of the 3 I got wrong were idioms which I’m pretty bad at :x. Math wasn’t a problem like usual. Critical Reading was the section that worried me the most but that turned out alright too. I got 6 wrong of which 5 were related to vocab.

So the parts I still have to work on are… vocab, idioms, grammar, and essay.

I was pretty worried about the SAT since I hadn’t prepped at all and I only have 1 shot at it but it looks hopeful now :D.

My goal is anything 2300 or above.

Oh and, the two blue books overlap. The second edition contains the test originally in the first edition. I doubt you’ll have a shortage of tests though. There’s 10 more available on the online SAT course CB provides. There’s also a couple past PSAT and SAT’s floating around if you know where to look.

Elmastermind I take the challenge
I took the may sat but I was extremely sick so I felt that I completely fail around 500
So now that ap’s are over we need to report back and be prepared for the 800’s
