Accepted at Elon and several other schools. Still deciding, but pretty sure its Elon. Can someone who knows please tell me if there is any advantage to placing a deposit on Elon right now in order to get a preference for a better first year dorm? Is there any advantage to depositing now vs. waiting (just more time to make sure) and deposit on April 30th…thanks.
I’m sure you’ve deposited by now, but just wanted to post for future readers that there is not an advantage at Elon to depositing early. As of incoming class of 2022; dorms are assigned by the college and students do not get to give preferences (however, they can apply to LLCs that would be housed in a particular building/neighborhood).
