congrats @jkubert! Just curious, who is your admissions representative?

My rep is Scott Christopherson!

Congrats jkubert! See ya round campus next year!

Is there any methodology to how the reps decide which ED applicants to call? Since its ED the applicants are committed to attend so I assume its not a persuasion factor.

Also, since the day before decision day is Thanksgiving Day will the reps more likely to be calling tomorrow or not at all?

Guys I just got the call! I’m in! So excited for next year. Good luck to everybody still waiting!

How are you all finding out your status? We were told Nov 29 at 12:01.

Dacril12, some of the admissions counselors call the students they’ve worked with ahead of time to let them know. It’s very sporadic – some do, some don’t. Most people have to wait until Nov 29. Hang in there!

My daughter just got a call from her rep with an acceptance.

I had read on here that some people were getting calls today and I was trying to not to think about it! But I did tell my daughter if she got a call on her cell with a 336 number, she should answer it. Thrilled that she got the call when I was here and with her sister just home from college and before she left for practice today.

We are from PA and my daughter did meet with her rep at Elon and when she visited her School and at a college fair.

Great News! Our daughter just called me. She received the call. She was accepted. She was so happy she was crying. Now we can all enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner with one additional blessing to add to the list!!!

I received a call from my representative today at around 11:30. I was accepted! Excited to start next year as well.

Yes, I believe the counselors call students who have shown a lot of demonstrated interest in the school. I made 2 trips to Elon, and attended an event in my hometown to learn more about the university and connect, so I had a very good relationship with my counselor as well as other counselors. I am from MD by the way. Again, good luck to everybody waiting, and congratulations to those who have also received calls.

I just got off the phone with Scott (the NY rep). Accepted! Congrats to all those who get called and good luck to those still waiting.

Congratulations to those who have rcvd calls! Don’t worry if you have not rcvd a call. It has nothing to do with demonstrated interest. Some regional reps make calls, some don’t. It’s that simple.

Just got the call and I’m in!

Just now? What state are you in?

I’m in VA, got the call from mr. Bradberry

Do you guys think they maybe only call the top 10 percent of the applicants or something like that? I’m from NY and I’m freaking out!!!

I’m from NY too and didn’t get a call. I’m trying not to worry because I know people who aren’t called still often get in, but I’m worried anyway because I know my admissions rep has been making calls.

Rockvillemom- are you a rep from the school?
