veehee, can you share stats? Their website says 15% get the Presidential ($6K), but you may be the only one on here who got it! Congrats!

My twin boys in Cleveland also got in!

So happy for all the potential Phoenixes! My daughter was also accepted today with a Presidential Scholarship ($6K/yr). She’s thrilled!

Accepted OOS with the renewable Elon Engagement Scholarship ($4500) and a $2000 grant! I am still applying for living-learning communities

Anyone who received merit money, would you be so kind to post stats?

Trying to understand the cutoff at Elon, and needing to weigh an (apparently) non-merit situation here versus other schools.

My daughter’s stats:

3.84UW/4.49W
ACT 33
11APs and Multivariable Calculus (dual enrollment) by the end of senior year
Marching band and part time job are biggest ECs plus some clubs
In person visit during fall open house dates.

Thanks! Those are excellent stats. Congrats!
Apparently my daughter is below the cutoff (3.8 UW, ACT 34 (took once), only 6 APs, two varsity sports, etc.) and without the same demonstrated interest (I mean zoom session, but nothing like an in person visit).

My daughter was accepted but no merit which is bizarre. She’s gotten it everywhere else.
STATS:
32 ACT/ superscore 33
3.8 unweighted GPA
3 sport varsity athlete
All honor societies
President of Friends of Exceptional Children
200+ hours of focused community service

D shocked and delighted To be accepted. Regular run of the mill very diverse NJ high school. She loved Elon when she visited it in February.

I feel your pain! I have no idea if Elon considers appeals, but we’re in the same boat as you.

Daughter accepted! 3.85 GPA along with lots of leadership and EC’s. Congrats everyone and good luck to the deferrals. Past experience with other schools is to show your interest after a deferral.

My daughter got in too! She received the Presidential Scholarship.
Congrats all & hang in there on the deferrals - those will come though.

My daughter got deferred with an unweighted 4.0, 60 dual college credits, and a class rank of #6. I was surprised, but it’s okay. I hope you just haven’t received Merit yet. Fingers crossed it’s coming!

Congrats to everyone re their acceptances! Does anyone know how to access the PIN needed to log into ACORN so we can read the application decision? Thanks!

Son accepted with Presidential Scholarship. 4.7 weighted GPA, full IB student. From Maryland. Visited in person this fall.
