<p>What happens after I apply?
All Fellows applications are reviewed after January 10. Finalists for
each program are selected by faculty committees. If you are a finalist,
you will be invited one month in advance to attend Fellows & Scholarship
Weekend, March 4–5, 2011. If you applied under the final deadline
decision period, you will receive a decision about your freshman admission
status at the time of invitation to Fellows & Scholarship Weekend.</p>

<p>I think rodney’s date of about February 4th is a realistic date to hope for but looking at threads from last year it looked like many people found out in the last few days of January according to a date that was emailed to you and on your OnTrack account. Good luck to all those who applied, looks like we only have a few more weeks left to wait.</p>

<p>Daughter invited for Elon College Fellows and Honors Fellows! Also received her admission status (silly kid had marked final decision, because she is auditioning for Musical Theatre, which is a secondary step…) and she is in! However, she has the lead in her school musical…performing the same weekend as Fellows Weekend…guess we need to call the school. Anyone know anything about if you MUST attend the Fellows Weekend?</p>
<p>Didn’t get into the Communication Fellows program but congrats to anyone who did! definitely still considering elon!!</p>
<p>I was invited to interview for communications fellows, disappointed that I didn’t get consideration for honors (bigger scholarship opportunities) but I’m not really surprised since I didn’t put much into my honors essay. Excited for the opportunity.</p>

<p>I was invited for Honors and Elon College Fellows! Like others, I’ve never been to campus, so it’ll be pretty exciting to check it out. Congrats to everyone who got in!</p>
<p>I was invited for Elon Collge Fellows! If I get accepted and the finances work out I am pretty sure that I will be attending in the fall!!</p>
<p>You must attend fellows weekend to be considered for a spot. My son is a business fellow and many of the kids last year were missing DECA, plays etc. to attend the fellows competition last year. It is a difficult decision but she would regret not competing for a spot, if she does plan on attending Elon. Being a ‘fellow’ at Elon is prestigious and offers so much to the kids accepted into the fellow programs.</p>

Like after the fellows weekend? How long does it take Elon to notify finalists?
If you become a fellow, do you have to attend Elon or do they accept a few extra?</p>
