Is anyone else still waiting to find out what their financial aid package is from Elon? My son keeps checking his Elon OnTrack portal and it says “Online awards are not available for you at this time.” Wrote to financial aid a couple of times and the date keeps moving later and later. Last note said that they were still working on students admitted in March, and hopefully would have something next week. That seems very late, given that decisions are due on May 1st, and we can’t really commit and lay down a deposit until we know the cost–and therefore can’t sign up for Rising Phoenix weekend. Very frustrating and long wait!
We were in the same situation. Keep in mind that the $500 deposit is fully refundable up until May 1. We paid the deposit so that we could sign up for the weekend and got our financial aid award soon after (the two weren’t connected, it was just the way the timing worked).
Thanks nhdad2015. We finally got our award info on late Friday afternoon. Less than we were hoping for. This will be a hard decision to make.
