Is it true that for Teacher Recommendations, it is not posted online, it is not put in an envelope, it is just attached to the application so that the students can even read it?

I didn’t really follow you. When my son applied - he gave the teachers stamped addressed envelopes and they mailed the recs directly to Elon. He submitted his application on-line. So, he did not see or handle the teacher recs.

Each high school determines how Teacher Recs are handled at their school. Which college you are sending them to doesn’t really matter. Some high schools have the teachers send the recs to Guidance and they’re mailed from there. Others have the teachers hand you the sealed envelope and you mail it, or do what Rockvillemom said. Others encourage teachers to do Recs online if possible. Again, it’s up to your high school.

No holahellokitty it is not true that teacher rec’s have to be attached to the application.

Page 6-7 is for Counselor Evaluation Form; there is no form in the app for teacher evaluation.

Teacher rec’s are not required , only required rec is counselor rec.

Admissions say they will look at teacher rec’s and there is no preferred format.
