<p>If submitting the common app online, do teacher recs need to be sent online as well or is it acceptable for the teacher to physically mail the recommendation?</p>
<p>The teacher has the option of submitting on line or via snail mail. This has nothing to do with how you submit the common app. Some of my D’s teachers are doing it one way and some are doing the other. We can’t figure out how to print out the form for the teachers that want snail mail. HELP!!</p>
<p>Look under school forms on the common app, one of them is for teacher recs. Just print that. </p>
<p>My guidance counselor says that she sends all recs for schools that allow common app. Maybe it varies though.</p>
<p>For the teachers that prefer on-line, fill out their emails address that you can invite them on-line via email.
For the teachers that prefer paper, do NOT fill out their emails. Then you’ll be prompt to print out the school form, with the student info, common app ID prefilled already.</p>
