Is there a problem with the email notifications of replies to threads I have previously replied to?
In the last day or two, I don’t seem to be getting them reliably - either I get them hours later after multiple posts have been made, or I don’t get them at all.
I can see from the timestamps that there are replies to threads I should be subscribed to, but I don’t get anything.
They are not getting caught by the gmail spam filter, I checked.
According to our mail servers we are successfully sending about 13,000 per day with no rejections. If you could let me know what ISP you use for email perhaps there is a pattern for who is not getting emails.
I have Comcast for my ISP, however I am using gmail for my email, so the ISP shouldn’t matter.
This thread is a perfect example - I did not receive an email notification that dkblinux98 replied to this thread. If you are logging emails sent, maybe you can look up if one was actually sent or not.
I checked in the control panel, it shows that I am subscribed to this thread with instant notification. And it indicates that there are new posts.
I did get an email when vossron replied to the original message, and it is timestamped 12:47 PM, which is also the timestamp on vossron’s post. So in that case, I did get an instant email.
If there is anything else you need to know, or anything I can do to help, please let me know.
Notifications stop (I missed a day’s worth) and then they start again; I just got one for not’s above of four minutes ago. I use pair.com for email. How about by location of CC’s server? I’m near San Jose, CA.
