Email talking about viewing your decision online...

i got an email, am now very nervous O_O

I wish it was a hint at acceptance...

To the people who haven't gotten it yet: there is NO WAY that this is an indication of acceptance. They have to let us all know when our decisions will be up online, rejections as well as acceptances. And I got an e-mail, and frankly, my chances of getting in are almost zero, so.

Yes, MLeigh is right. "Decisions" are both acceptances and rejections. All applicants need to check online, not just those who are accepted. So the emails are sent to everyone. I also recieved one.

lol i find that pre-decision applicants will pick apart any kind of subtle inconsistency as a sign of acceptance/rejection, it's rather amusing

i got it too

yep. that's what we do.

do they send out the decision emails at the very same time then?

Nope. I haven't received any such email.

On which website do I have to register?

i didn't get one either

HZ1989, they don't send out decision emails. You have to check your decision online.

Still don't have the email - anyone else not have it?

I don't have it yet, either. Come ooon, Princeton.

I wonder whether this is sent out by the regional rep. Some of them probably have not had a chance to send yet. We are on the west coast and received the e-mail.

I don't think there's anything related to regions, Professor101.

I live in Europe, and I got it like 3 days ago, on the 18th of March.

^^It's still possible that your officer is on top of things. Ya, we got it like 10pm PST on the 18th.

i just got it and i'm northeast

I received it yesterday and I'm Northeast--so I'm pretty sure that some are just taking more time than others to go through. Will you all be checking the decision online or waiting for the package? I was thinking I would probably go traditional route

I'm probably gonna wait for the package. Though, I've been thinking that if I get into my in-state dream school I probably won't be too upset if I don't get into Princeton, so I might just check it online.

checking it online = like ripping a bandaid off. you know right then but it;s not v. personal.
mail = more suspense and at least you can burn the letter if you're rejected.

I'm midwest, and no email so far.
