Has anyone who emailed the admissions department actually received a response other than the automated "we have recieved your email"?

If so, about how long did this take??

I got a response. It took about 3 weeks. Calling is much more practical.

I emailed once in October, and it took about 2 weeks. Then I emailed again about 2 weeks before the deadline, and they still haven't gotten back to me yet. :p

i emailed them and i honestly got a reply within 15 minutes..i got lucky

and this one other time, one of their people emailed me and he would reply to my questions within a day....so i guess its just hte timing of your messages, if they are checking their mail that day or not

If you email a specific counselor rather than admitusc@usc.edu, you are likely to get a quicker reply. Find yours at:

^ Yeah, I would recommend doing that as well. Whenever I e-mailed my region rep, I got a reply within the day :)
