Im trying to email the regional director at UPenn as I forgot to include a prestigious award I won in high school. How does the email sound?

Dear Tu-Quyen Nguyen, (--> Don't know if its Mr. or Mrs.!!)

My name is ***********; I am am Early Decision candidate to the University Of Pennsylvania from Middlesex County in New Jersey. I am extremely interested in the University Of Pennsylvania and would like to major in Chemistry as an undergraduate.

I would like to inform you that I have not had a chance to include a prestigious science award I have won in highschool, in my application. During the 2006-2007 academic year, I have placed 2nd in the State of Michigan (Silver Medal Winner) as a freshman for designing the most efficient Solar Car, in the "Michigan Physics Olympiad Competition" sponsored by the University Of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The purpose of the competition was to design the most efficient solar car using elementary materials, while taking factors such as friction, storage, weight to length ratio and chassis to power ratio into consideration. In addition, my team has placed 3rd overall in the State Physics Olympiad Competition (Bronze Medal).

I believe these awards can only help add to my application and show my renewed interest in science. I hope the admission committee will take this supplemental information into consideration during their decision. Thank you.

Sincerely,
