Emergency transfer credit question

Hi- My daughter had 31 college credits accepted by Elon. Only now I just noticed that for example, her Eng Comp class has 3 credits and they transferred 3, which sounds great until you realize that Elon’s Eng Comp is a 4 credit class. So tomorrow is decision day and I can’t say if her credits are meaningful or not. There’s nothing on this report that clearly tells me, for example, that her Eng Comp class fulfils their Eng Comp requirement. It says she has 31 “equivalent transfer credits” but does that help if they are all an hour short for each class?
Anyone had any experience with this? It isn’t the same as AP…

For those 37 folks who looked at this  let me tell you there IS a God. Because the registrar decided to come in to work on a Saturday, which he never does, and he saw my D’s email. They chatted on the phone and all is well.
If you think you might take classes at a community college, be sure to take both the I and the II of each class because then these schools that have 4 credit classes can “borrow” credits from one class and put them with another to get to the 4. Then the leftover credits go to your electives.
So before she has to push the button tomorrow, she knows she has a good pile of classes out of the way before she shows up on campus and that her work was not wasted. Whew.
And remember my young friends, don’t make my mistake; make sure you read the fine print of everything. Start now, when you are 14!

So is her final decision Elon? Congrats if so. Great school!

Hi Classic,
So glad you got the info you needed. My son went in with about the same amount of credits. He only needed to repeat one theory class because they felt the course descriptions were a little different.

Wow - I’ve got to say - this speaks very highly of Elon! We liked them 6 yrs ago and will hopefully see them next fall for our youngest. At least on the administrative/registrar side, it appears they are very attentive! Wish you well with your decision!
