Applying Early Action for Media production in film, and starting to upload my work to the portfolio. I know the requirements say that a video must be up to 5 minutes in length, but the video I want to upload is about 5 minutes and 20 seconds. I managed to cut it down from the original 8 minutes, but if I do any more it just won’t make any sense. Does anyone think uploading this will hurt my chances of getting in, or that they won’t consider the video because of it? Emerson is my top choice so I really want to show my best work.
I’m also applying, I think that it would be better if you only submitted 5. it shows you can follow rules. I wouldn’t suggest going over that, but do what you want
