I posted this is another thread so please ignore me if you've already read this.
Emerson College - Studio TV Production
BU College of Communication - Film & Television

I'm just looking for some opinions to aid my decision. I change which one I like better literally every hour, it's going to be a tough decision for me.
My ultimate career goals:
Realistically- television producer or director, or really any part of a TV comedy show...maybe commercial advertisements and/or management position in TV station
Ideally- Have the job of Lorne Michaels and Kristen Wiig simultaneously. The executive producer and a cast member of SNL :)
Thanks!

I don’t know much about what you need to know but check this out

I have only read her NYer article but I bet she would wrote about men and papercup full of pee. That’s what TV men do, too lazy to get to bathrooms and pee in the cups and leave them around, is what she said in the article.
jokes aside, there are bit about job interviews, team spirits, needing commonsense etc even in TV world.
and get this, she is a UVA grad!? no laughing matter!!

People respect Emerson around here (NYC), when kids can’t get in they’d settle for state schools, same people are tend to biased toward BU in general.
I guess no help to you. sorry.

I appreciate your input, especially because you are from NYC and that is ultimately where I’d like to end up. I’m really wondering which is going to give me more opportunity after college.

Also I am looking to read that book as soon as I get some free-time, my friend suggested it to me as well. Thanks!
