Emory Admissions Regular Decision Fall 2022

Of course and feel free to ask if you have questions. Like I said he is there and I am an alum from the Atlanta campus and an interviewer so we just may have the answer or where to find it. Good luck! And congrats on the current acceptances.

I have no dots on any of the ones you have dots on. What in the world could it mean?

I don’t think they mean anything lol. I have dots on Cornell and Emory like you and also have none on Northwestern, Vandy, and Notre Dame. I doubt that it’s coincidence that we would have the exact same results, my current theory is it is based on whatever site the colleges use to host the application portal.

Maybe it has something to do with financial aid - did the people with the dots all apply for aid?

I applied for aid everywhere.

I’m reading about the dots on other threads for other schools, as well. I wonder if they are using the same platform…

My DS have dots but not applied for financial aid.

So dots must mean something

@ArrBee your son was given the opportunity to switch to ATL campus from Oxford after one year? I didn’t know that was a thing! Was that Covid-related, or a normal policy? Who do they offer that to – certain majors?

He had enough credits to graduated Oxford and transfer. Anyone can do it if you have the credits. They asked him again for December to go for the spring. Some of his friends went. He didn’t want to so he will go in the fall.

In your checklist, exactly right next to each of the green checkmarks, is there no small green dot?

Since you are a finalist, do you have dots next to your application portal?

No dots for me. The Emory Alum stated no dots for her son( Emory student) or dau that applied. I have no dots on each of my 5 applications for RD currently.its a weird phenomena wish itd get some finalization but guess we will. see in a week .

I noticed that the dots show up on Chrome / Edge in Windows but not on safari on Mac. Wondering if its just a rendering issue with different browsers

No dots for this iPhone/iPad user, on any application/portal

Good to know

Sounds like it’s just a platform variation. Eases some concerns!
