<p>Last year I think they concluded the wait list decisions around 6/15 so we should get a response by or after then.</p>
<p>For 2015 and 2016, that spreadsheet has the number of applicants confused with the number of people accepted, leading to unreasonably low yield numbers.</p>
<p>I never meant to insinuate that emory is an inferior institution. It is one of the best institutions in the country . I was just agitated with the fact that the decisions have not come yet . Just few more days to go anyhow 
Moreover ,that spreadsheet is from the The New York Times (The Choice) .</p>

<p>I received this email from admissions after asking about the wait list:</p>
<p>"At this time, final decisions about the wait list have not been made. There is no set timeline for final wait list decisions to be rendered. The Admission Committee has admitted a handful of students off the wait list earlier in the month, but has not finalized the process. Wait list decisions can come in a variety of stages. Students must be patient. </p>
<p>If a student is admitted off the wait list they will be contacted by either email or phone. Once all wait list decisions are rendered students will be notified by email. A final decision may not occur until the end of June. "</p>
