I was wondering who is attending Emory as a transfer student this fall? Also, why did you guys choose Emory? Can past Emory transfers share their experiences? Any info would be great!</p>
<p>Hey, I got in for fall 2010 but I am still weighing the pros/cons of staying or heading down south. Anyone else in the same boat or decided on going to Emory?</p>

<p>I am too. I’m not sure what kind of housing we get. I know the earlier you turn in your deposit the better housing you will most likely get. Also, since we are going to be sophomores on campus housing is guaranteed.</p>
<p>yeah you’re right. I don’t know about you or anyone else that may have gotten in but Emory is far from where I live haha. It is going to be a tough decision by any standard for me. However, if we both do end up going I look forward to a good year.</p>
<p>I got my acceptance and credit evaluation through email last Tuesday. 64 of my credits transferred 
I am still waiting for the actual letter through mail. There is a good chance that I will attend Emory University this fall unless Vanderbilt takes me off their wait list and if the financial aid Emory offers me is not enough for my family to afford the tuition…if that happens I will have to decide between the two and possibly the University of Richmond who basically gave me $52,000 in aid. I just really want a sense of closure and know where I will be in late August…</p>

<p>eastfro - Just type in “Emory Transfer” on google. And yeah its on a rolling basis but they usually ask for a final transcript so in most cases you are stuck until your school posts grades.</p>
<p>Yeah I understand where you are coming from nj rome. The costs are pretty steep but they might well be worth the price. Anyway good luck on Vanderbilt.</p>

<p>vanderbilt is my second choice but i still dont like the fact that it’s in TN & my friend at emory told me that ppl at vandy are so stuck up & preppy! :(</p>
