What's Going On????? Im Just About To Apply But It's Not On The List

thats weird. luckily i pushed submit yesterday. are you sure?

what should I do? Is rushing the paper application on January 17th
gonna make me an auto reject......? I really didn't expect this to happen.. My parents are about to kill me right now.. no kidding

Was the dealine the 15th? did you apply after it?

Rush the app (it can't hurt) and call them Tuesday. I'm almost positive they'll accept it. They're really enthusiastic about apps.

Well this is still 15th and I was about to submit like 3 hours ago and I looked at the list and Emory wasn't there... I really hope you're right

Oh yikes, I keep thinking today is the 16th.

In that case, I'm sure you won't be penalized. It's their fault.

True, it's their fault. But I was procrastinating. If I write that as an excuse wouldn't they think "This kid should have submitted at least a couple of days before the deadline" or something?

Or would writing the excuse note actually help them understand? I keep thinking the adcoms are mean.. but I hope not..

Also, would rushing the app through fedex look bad and would my app be thrown in the "not so serious about our school" pile?

Someone? I'm dying here feeling like a total idiot

omg i am sending he supplements in late...

could someone respond to my previous post

i will tell u from my experience...I sent in BU and vanderbilt late (vandy 23 min and bu 1.5 hrs). I called the schools and they said it was perfectly fine. So...best i can tell u is to call the school explain ur problem and then see what happens.

No, procrastination should not be an issue, either.
They created the deadline for a reason (i.e. you can hit "send" that day), while many people don't send them until the very last day, anyways.

Don't overanalyze it. You'll be fine.
