Emory Scholars notification...

still nothing...

is admissions even open now?
i doubt it
i'd hate to wait until monday at 8 to call and ask
i'm shaking right now

I'm still waiting too...did anyone who became a semi get their email late? Trying to interpret what a late decision means...

When I just tried logging in to OPUS it told me that my decision is unavailable...

To those who did not advance, did it clearly say NO? or is this message their way of saying no?

Ok, I just got the rejection letter. :( Oh well, it was definitely tough competition, so super congrats to everyone who got it!

bananas55, I got an email clearly saying I didn't make it. Not sure about what's on OPUS (I would guess it still says the online decision is unavailable)

I don't know, the same thing is happening to me. I wish they would just say yes or no because for some reason I am not recieving their emails and I can't wait any longer...

6:00 EST received letter of admissions and selection of semi-finalist
6:20 emailed received telling to go to OPUS for decision

Congrats to all and to those that didn't get it - remember when one door closes another always opens!

So out of 350, only 70 get full tuition?

Anymore news ? Good or bad?

I didn't make it. I was hoping to at least make it to semi's, but that's the way it goes I suppose.

Now I am just really worried about my other schools. I got the two highest offers from Case/U Pitt, but based upon this notification, I feel like I have no shot for money at Wash U (my other top pick). I am a little worried and upset, but all well.

Congrats to those who made it in! Good luck with the rest of process: let us now how it all eventually works out :-)

Still nothing for me... I haven't gotten a rejection email, yet nothing shows up on my OPUS.

It's frustrating. I want a clear answer!

Here is a portion of the letter to answer your question about how many receive $$
70 get full - 100 more will get 2/3 tuition-

ln the semifinalist review, faculty members from various departments around Emory University will comprise a selection committee which will ultimately name nearly 200 Emory Scholars. Approximately seventy finalists will be chosen from this group and invited to campus for interviews March 18-21. Attendance for the full four days of Scholar Finalist Weekend is required of finalists who wish to remain in competition for a full tuition Emory scholarship. An additional group of approximately 100 semifinalists will be selected for the John Emory Scholarships of 2/3 tuition. All semifinalists will be notified of their status in the Emory Scholars program by late February.

i have gotten absolutely nothing...no email, no opus. SO FRUSTRATING! maybe it is the business scholars that are late?

well for those of you who did an didnt make it could u maybe post ur sat/act scores so i can get a better feeling of whether or not i have a chance? ( i didnt get an email in general so i have no clue)

It's a no for my D ! i'm concern now for the RD decision!

yes, can people with positive results post their stats? thanks!
