Hi guys!
I was selected to receive full tuition awards at Emory and Vanderbilt as well as the GA Tech President's Scholarship. I've narrowed down my college choices to these three, since they would be the most financially sound options. I just wanted to get some input on which one I should pick.
I'm pretty certain I'm going to be pre-med with a major in Spanish. Financially, they would all be about the same . I'm a little wary of Vanderbilt because of the Greek atmosphere, but it does seem to be the most prestigious of the three, and I like the campus the best. I live near Atlanta, so Emory and GT would be the closest (which I like). Study abroad and research opportunities are also definitely VERY important to me.
I would really appreciate any opinions!
Thanks so much!

Pre-med, research opportunities, Atlanta? Seems like everything is pointing towards Emory. I prefer Emory’s campus over that of Vanderbilt and they are equally prestigious. Emory has been ranked higher than Vanderbilt in numerous occasions. Go Emory!

Congrats on your scholarships, you must be really proud of yourself! I am going to Emory, but I think Vanderbilt’s Martha Ingram Commons for freshmen would be such a fun experience that you should not pass it up! And doesn’t Vanderbilt have a better pre-med reputation and a better medical school acceptance rate than Emory? Also, there is a prevalent Greek atmosphere at Emory as well. And I don’t think study abroad and research opportunities would be so different between the two schools.
Again, congrats on your scholarships!

You should visit all three, and see which one you like best - you will be spending four years, after all.

It sounds like a decision between Emory and Vanderbilt. Go to both of the accepted student days and make a decision based on which college you truly like better.

Good luck!
