which one would you go to?

Vandy. Hot girls. Nashville>Atlanta.

Emory. Bigger endowment, better location (right next to the CDC and Carter Center), and top business school. Is there anything more to say?

Emory, but I’m a biased Georgia boy. I love, love, love the area around Emory, one of the few parts of the perimeter I can stand.

If I had to I’d go to Emory. I’m not very fond of Tennessee. Also Vanderbilt seems more southern/aristocratic, but then again I’m not too familiar with these schools.

Emory by far for me. Higher Endowment. Better Business School. CDC right in the back yard. Amazing campus. More Diverse. Less fratty. More international students.

Sports isn’t that important for me so it’s not so important for me. Plus, I visited the Emory campus yesterday and just… pure awesomeness.

Vanderbilt. SEC sports. Great city.

Go to Duke instead. Mike Posner goes there.

Both good schools. Girls seem to like to “dress to impress” more at Vandy. About HALF the female students join sororities, which puts a little too much emphasis on them, imo. I’d choose Emory.

Both are good schools but the environments are quite different. SEC sports adds a lot to the Vandy experience- if you care about that. Big frat/sorority scene, too. Nashville is an awesome city, but so is Atlanta. I would give the clear edge to Vanderbilt.

the millionth thread on this topic…why oh why do people think these schools are at all similar?
look at the demographic profiles for each school for the last two admissions cycles…diametric opposites; seriously…
.the only thing they have in common is size and approximate location (South of the Mason Dixon line) and the fact that the stats reported lead them to be one apart on USNWP…

i guess us news answered this

do either one favor asians more?

with your stats, you might as well try to apply to emory-oxford and transfer over to emory after 2 years

So overrated. His father is involved in the music industry, which is obvious, because he isn’t very talented.

To snufrozemaniah: Emory has a substantial Korean contingent.

A former president of Emory was US Ambassador to South Korea. The Atlanta area also has a fairly large Korean population and Korean supermarkets and restaurants (both on Buford Highway - close to Emory, and in the suburbs).

willmingtonwave, you must have not have heard any of his music.

Listen to Cooler than me or Drug Dealer girl and then come talk.

Cooler than me is nothing special. I can think of a lot of people that are cooler than him.

Where is the business school coming from? I don’t recall the OP mentioning anything other than undergrad, but if you’d like to go that route, you might as well point out that Vanderbilt has a better medical and law school (using the same criteria you’re using)
