Emory vs Johns Hopkins

I was recently accepted to Johns Hopkins and got into Emory via the Emory Scholars program, where I was a semifinalist.

Right now I've narrowed down my colleges to these two, but can't really decide. I plan on attending an Allopathic MD School and was wondering which would prepare me the most.

I know this question may be beaten to death, but does going to Johns Hopkins increase the chance or provide an advantage into applying to the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, because of the familiarity and strength of the school's curriculum?

I also know that Emory is a good school and that most of its students usually go to Emory medical school, but that's only by word of mouth. I recieved a 22k/yr scholarship to Emory, but if going to JHU (which gave me a 22k grant only for freshman year) means a better chance at an elite medical school, then I would give up the scholarship.

Which one should I choose? Is there any data on where premeds at both school matriculate?

no, going to jhu won’t help you get into their med school. also, the first semester of grades at jhu is “covered” so you won’t have legit grades, just P/F which is annoying.

given what you said, i’d go to emory.

Money money money.

JHU… lol
