Hey guys,
I am a rising junior at UA. I mainly went there for the full tuition paid (God bless it), but not the biggest fan of the school (it’s treated me alright, but I haven’t quite “fit” in so to speak). I was accepted into Emory though, but I will be paying 9k tuition each year plus housing. I have the Pact plan on me though, so I will get about 10k each year but I will be left with housing. Which will still leave me in some debt. I am in state with Alabama, so my family is definitely wanting me to stay home but also because of the finances! Which is understandable. Can someone give me any thoughts outside of this? Would Emory probably be worth the difference (research, networking, whatever)? I think I would fit in better, but I don’t know if that is worth the cost either (esp. since I have only 2 years left). Thank you!
BTW I am a biology/environmental science major. Not pre-med. Hoping to do either out in the field research or something with it (which isn’t the greatest pay itself, lol). Not wanting to do grad school, but if I have to I will.
