Decision is getting tough, thoughts on each of the three? Pros and Cons of each place? I need some help deciding!

Emory is tops academically and the largest. Do you want the prestige? Do you like the size better? Location is more dynamic.

Davidson is tiny but great. Pretty intense atmosphere. Not nearly as many social opportunities.

W & L is in the middle of nowhere. Make sure that is OK with you. It is going to be much more southern than the other two. Emory will be the most diverse though Davidson draws from all over.
Basically, it comes down to what you want and which matches that best. All are very good and will get you into good grad schools.

Hey, I’m actually in a similar situation. I’m choosing between Davidson and Emory too (though I didn’t apply to W & L). Personally, I’m heavily leaning towards Davidson. I visited both schools, and Emory was much less personal and helpful. The admissions staff was actually kind of rude, my tour guide wasn’t great, and overall I was kind of struck by how HUGE the school felt even though it’s rather small. Davidson, on the other hand, had (in my opinion) a much prettier campus, was much more welcoming, and there was a very strong sense of community. At both schools kids were very into their academics and very bright. The social scene seemed more inclusive at Davidson, too me. Emory probably does have the prestige/is better known, but Davidson is considered a “New Ivy,” and Grad Schools love it because it’s famous for its lack of grade inflation and challenging curriculum. At both, I promise you you’ll be challenged.

I want to stress that this was just MY experience of the place, and everyone has a much different experience depending on their wants and the situation.

Yea I agree it really comes down to personal preference. I guess I’m just looking for different opinions of the schools in comparison to one another. Thanks for the answers though. That definitely helps.
