Ending of sophomore year beginning of junior year

Where did the time go? Are you guys enjoying it?
I honestly stress so much about my grades I never really enjoy my self.
I did good this year while I took intermediate and advanced theatre, with all honors classes. But I didn’t do good with my self

I finished off with a 3.7(unweighted) g.p.a I don’t know if I should be proud or depressed.

Hey, I’m also a rising junior! And a 3.7 is nothing to be ashamed of, that’s pretty impressive. I learned that sometimes it’s okay to spend some time on yourself- whether that means not taking so many difficult classes or cutting back on some of my ecs. Freshman and soph year seemed so slow as I was experiencing it, but now it feels like time flew by. A good tip to stress less about your grades is to maybe take a break from checking on them. I used to obsessively check my grades every minute of everyday, but this year I tended to check once a week. I focused more on doing well on tests and understanding material rather than being stressed about how close to being down a letter grade in my classes.

I’m a rising junior too! It’s kinda sad how fast time flies. Freshman and sophomore year both went by in a flash. I stress out about grades too, but most people do! I’m stressed for junior year but also really excited - I’m starting a business with a few friends, taking 4 APs, President of a club, and competing in business/cs/english/robotics competitions outside of school. I’m trying not to focus on grades as much; of course, I want straight As, but I’m planning on shifting more focus to extracurriculars.

3.7 is good! My GPA is around there too. If I get straight A’s for the rest of high school, I’ll be at a 3.9 before applying to colleges, which is considered okay for top engineering/cs programs.
