Energy jobs

What do you guys advise me to do if I wanna work in energy?
Major in energy
Major in EE
Major in ME
Major in EE,minor in energy
Major in ME,minor in energy
Major in ME,minor in EE,specialization energy
Major in EE,minor in ME,specialization energy
Major in physics, minor in maths,THEN any of the above.
None(in this case please suggest for me..)

I need an urgent answer because I am lost.

Can you be more specific than just “energy”? Are you thinking petroleum, solar, hydroelectric or what? Are you more interested in drilling for oil or designing electricity transmission networks? A little more info will help folks answer you better.

The problem is that I love everything about energy and not one specific part of it.:(

Anyone?

what do you mean by energy, nuclear energy, electrical energy, pure energy?

Energy is incredibly broad. Are you interested in researching new energy technologies? Are you interested in implementing them? Are you interested in oil refinement, or green technologies? It’s so incredibly broad, you really need to narrow down what you want to do.

Engineers of almost any type can work in an energy-related field. Chemical engineers are often hired by oil and natural gas companies. Mining engineers are hired to do their namesake. Mechanical and electrical engineers have many applications in energy-related fields as well.

Are there other types of energy?

Fossil fuels–oil, gas, coal; Nuclear; Hydroelectric; Wind, Solar, Tidal; Biomass;Geothermal. It is very easy to find information on all of these energy sources if you spend a little time on the Internet. As Ctesiphon said, a degree in engineering would be useful. You could start with introductory courses and after your first year or two of college you would be in a better position to decide exactly what type of energy career would be of most interest to you.

Sure I can narrow down, the problem is O don’t know the different things to chose from?Could you please help me?(maybe a link or something)What do you think is better i your opinion to pair up with energy?ME or EE?What path of those I mentioned would you pick?
Thank you very much

Are those all the types of energy?Should I narrow what I wanna work in solar for example or is it enough to pick solar energy and work anywhere in this field?
What do you personally prefer to pair with energy, ME or EE?
Thank you very much
