Energy Management Degree

Hello all,

I am currently a sophomore (academically a junior) pursuing an Energy Management degree from the University of Oklahoma. It is basically a business degree with a focus on the energy field. I am having second thoughts about my degree though. I have always been interested in aviation (I even majored in it my freshman year, got my pilots license). I changed majors because the job outlook in the aviation industry is not the best right now. After a few semesters of thinking about it, I am still being drawn towards the business side of the aviation industry.

Now my question... Even though I am getting a degree in energy management (which has a very good job placement rate; the main reason I switched into it), could I still apply for jobs in the aviation field or will employers be turned off by my energy-focused degree? I am still interested in the energy field, but I'm worried that if I have a change of heart, I will not be able to pursue it.

Thank you!
This has been bugging me for quite a while...

bump…anyone?
