Energy Resources Engineering at Stanford?

Hello everyone,

I have selected the Energy Resources Engineering major at Stanford as my preferred major because I am interested in a career in petroleum engineering or maybe something in hydrogeology. However, one of my other aspirations is to go into business, and so I selected Management Science and Engineering as my second-choice major. However, I'm not really sure how reputable either of these majors are, and there aren't many people who seem to know much about these majors.
So my questions are: how good are these majors, can they help me find a good job (and yes I know, Stanford graduates in general will obtain excellent careers after graduating)? If I'm really interested in doing something in business, should I go with the Management Science major, or should I stick with something like Computational Science, or does it even really matter at all? I'd like to hear from students who have been through these majors themselves, or anyone who knows a lot about Stanford.
(And one last question, is it worth double-majoring in schools like Stanford?)
