Eng Major looking to study in hong kong or sweden

Hey guys Im trying to gather some information about studying abroad in Hong Kong and Sweden. I'm a mechanical engineering major and im looking to go thru the UC EAP program to study abroad.

If I study in Hong Kong, it will either be HKU or HKUST. If I decide to study in Sweden it would be at Lund university.

What can I expect in terms of the education, night life, and general experience from these universities as an international student. All of the courses are taught in english and as far as I know both of these countries have english taught in schools.

Which school has a better social scene/night life? Which school has a better engineering program?

just trying to get a general sense of the places. I'm also open to suggestions for other places to study abroad such as germany or singapore.

Speaking for Hong Kong, most students will have a better social/night life at HKU (geographic location). HKUST will be a better program for mechanical engineering courses.

Most courses at both universities will be in English (most if not all in the engineering school). Check the courses students have taken in the past at the UC EAP werbsite.

Many students go abroad at Singapore as well, because of the travel opportunities.
