Eng. Mgmt. @ Cornell vs IOE @ Umich

I need some advice to make a choice between MEng in Engineering Management at Cornell and MEng in Industrial & Operations Engineering at Michigan-Ann Arbor. Please share any pros and cons!!!

The program at Cornell is under Civil & Envi department. I'm not sure whether that would be disadvantage or not. If anyone has experience or has any information/comments on the program, please let me know. That would be very helpful to my decision.

Please help. Your advice would be appreciated.

-Cornell program is very flexible. Also the program is new.

-The IE department in Michigan is very strong (in the top 3 as US news ranking)

I am going to study Systems Engineering at Cornell next year but I am thinking about switching to the Engineering Management program.

Thanks for your ideas. You mean you defer admission to next year? Btw, what's your idea on that the Eng. Mgmt. program at Cornell is under Civil department? Personally, I think risk/decision analysis, management etc is more of IE program and the curriculum and course content might be better under IE department.

Any ideas is welcomed!!
