Has anyone heard Of the Honors engineering and law program offered by Northwestern University? Is this a good program what are the stats for getting in ? I heard that the advantage of this program is that one is already assured of a place in the law school while pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree. A minimum score on the LSAT is also required. Any idea if this is a good route for getting into other top 10 law schools?

I'd imagine that someone who got into this program would likely get into comparable T-14 schools. Who knows though, maybe it allows you to go to a better school than LSAT/gpa/major would indicate.

Son is currently in the program he says that it is selective, 4-6 students are selected every year. As far as he is concerned, he says he loves NU and made the right decision going there and would like to stay there for law school as well.
