Engineering Honors Programs

Anyone know how competitive these are? I'm most interested in the undergraduate research one. It says you need to have at least a 1350 on the old SAT and a 32 on the ACT, and I have a 1510 on the old scale and a 34. BUT, I haven't done any research on my own. Will this hurt me?

anybody....?

its based on ap's as well, theres no true reason to take honors unless you want to take ea3 and ea4 at the same time (the gen eng series, normally you atke ea3 spring of freshman year and ea4 fall soph) i think they look at your physics background

dont all NU undergrads do research at some point during the 4 years? What's different about this one ? and most importantly, will doing this honors programme increase your chances of admission to top grad schools?

this program is supposed to allow you to skip your master's and go straight to phd studies.

"you may begin your research as early as your freshman year and continue it throughout your undergraduate career. In addition, with advanced-placement status and strong performance in your research project and related course work, you may be considered for admission to the Graduate School during your junior year."
