<p>Ok, when i went to UCLA for engineering open house, they said that the computers students mostly used for engineering were pc's. I have a mac book and was wondering if i should do as they say and get a pc or should i upgrade my mac and get a mac book pro. anyone know anything about this?</p>
<p>What engineering? If you’re not CS you’ll be better off with a windows based PC. Most software will run exclusively on windows. With that said, you can always use computers on campus, and you really won’t be using intensive software until your 3rd year.</p>
