Engineering at GW

I have been accepted to SEAS at GW. I have some family connections to the school and got a lot of merit money. I'm well aware that GW is an absolutely top notch school for IR, PoliSci, International XYZ, etc., but I'm wondering:

A. About the actual reputation of GWUs engineering program (and if it is justified) and the "value" of a GW engineering degree

B. The educational/classroom quality of GWUs engineering program--obviously DC has ridiculous opportunities

C. Any international recognition of GWUs engineering program--I dont want to be one of those engineers in a huge corp. stuck in DC, nor do I want to do be one of those pre-law engineering students (I want to do interesting things with developing technologies, I guess :P).

In short, I have heard mixed opinions about GW engineering. So, what's it really like?

As a prospective student in a similar position, here’s something that helped me a lot.
