Hello, I am currently a senior and will be applying to several top engineering universities soon. I am very interested in going into Biomedical Engineering. I am planning on majoring in either electrical or mechanical engineering and then pursuing a masters in BME.
With this career pathway, what will it be like? What is the career advancement like? What do BM Engineers typically branch off into after a few years experience in their job? Managament? What is the typical path they take after their initial starting job? What about salary?
Basically, I am curious as to what job/salary one would hold when they're 35 vs when they're fresh out of schooling as a BME.

Also, with a Bachelor in such broad fields such as EE or ME, are there other possible Bio-Related jobs with possibly better outlooks/career progression than BME?

Thank you in advance
