I know it's a little late in the game to add more schools, but I applied to my schools (one ED) and if I don't get into my ED I have no idea where I'll go. My EFC according to the CSS Profile is around 18-20k so I'm looking for schools with generous aid because I'll need to take out loans because my parents will NOT be contributing that much.

I've applied to...
Penn State (accepted)
Drexel
Lehigh
Northeastern
Purdue
Virginia Tech

Can anyone recommend other decent engineering schools that are reasonably priced (<$40,000)?

Brief stats:
3.75 WGPA (slipped sophomore year but the rest is great)
ACT 30 Composite
34 E
33 M
27 R
29 S

How much is the actual family contribution? If it is significantly lower than the expected family contribution (which can differ at each school) plus any unmet need, then you may have to look for merit scholarship schools or very low cost schools.

Actual is around 10-13k. Ran price calculators and northeastern was supposedly 24k for me to attend and lehigh was 20k. looking for private schools with good financial aid even though im pretty sure northeastern will be a bit more expensive

You probably know this already, but you can only borrow $5500 your first year and $27K for four years. Any more than that and your parents will have to co-sign. That means they are liable for those debts even if you die, so I suggest that if they do any co-signing they take out a term life insurance on you. Try to avoid more than 27K for that reason among others.
