Can you recommend some honor CORE courses for Engineering?
If i choose to go to orientation at the last session does that mean some classes might be already filled?
What is your suggestion before I go to orientation?

Thanks

Son is interested in majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Top choice right now is Marquette, but also looking at Catholic University.

Son lives DC and would like to possibly intern at FDA, and was wondering if the engineering school has a coop/internship program.

How is the public transportation from the university to DC?

We loved using the Metro last summer, and were wondering if there are connections from the university to a metro station.

Husband goes up to Bethesda often for work, and a possible relocation may be in the future, so Maryland is worth a look.

We’re from New Orleans, so don’t know how son will handle Milwaukee winters, and hopefully, Maryland will be a bit milder.

Thanks for any help!

If you need to know, son’s stats are 2100 SAT, 31 ACT, top 25 percent class, weighted GPA 4.0. Lots of ECs, very diverse.

Montegut: There is a College Park Metro station, and I believe the campus bus system goes to the Metro stop. I know it’s about a 45 minute trip into GWU, station-to-station, because you have to change lines. Your son’s stats are promising, he shouldn’t have any trouble getting accepted.
