Engineering easier to get into for females?

dont waste your time with the Math IIC, they probably wont get it in time, and even if they do it wont matter.....if you for some reason do badly though then it might actually hurt u.

well i'm applying at other Ivies as well...and so I'm retaking Bio and Chem in hopes of scoring higher, and the Math IIC has a much easier curve than the IC so I should logically score higher right?

"BME will destroy your GPA...mine would be at least 0.2 higher if i was in the college majoring in bio"

I don't think you can definitively say that you'd have a 3.8-3.9 if you were majoring in bio. Bio isn't exactly a cushy major either.

well not exactly....u will need technical electives for the BME major, and since they added more engineering courses, not all of them have to be engineering electives as is the case with the cell & tissue track now. So you can knock off 3.5 points of tech electives with orgo and 3 more with orgo lab.....depending on the track you chose....so the course load wont be as heavy as i made it seem.
