<p>I'm looking to apply to engineering grad school (masters), but I can't seem to find many resources online for the statement of purpose. Do you guys have any recommended sites or any personal tips on how I should approach it?</p>

<p>Use the personal statement to demonstrate maturity, intelligence, drive, and experience. Don’t be cliche, naive-sounding, and don’t talk about anything before college (such as how you have had a passion for figuring out how things worked ever since you were a child).</p>
<p>There are thousands of resources available for the statement of purpose, easily found through google. I found plenty (even for the specific field of Electrical Engineering) when I was applying to grad school.</p>
