Anyone here have any information about the engineering honors program at CU? I was looking into applying, but wasn't sure what the benefits would be exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I plan on applying, if I can ever work up the motivation to get the four essays done. I have a friend who is in the program and really likes it. One of the main benefits is living in Andrews Hall, which was renevated just a couple of years ago. There are a number of upperclassmen in the engineering honors program living in Andrews as well, which kind of gives it a more residential college type of feeling. Apart from that, I believe there are a few classes that are only open to engineering honors students (and therefore are much smaller) and the program also hosts various events/guest speakers/etc.

Uh oh… I have not been in the loop on my son’s college apps. Is there a separate application for Engineering Honors?

Yes. Here is the link: [Main Page - Engineering Honors](http://www.cuhonorsengineering.com)

Priority deadline is March 1st.
