<p>Has anyone here experienced the Engineering Honors program already? What do you think about it? Is it a good idea? Does it increase your scholarship opportunities by a lot?</p>

My S is in engineering honors (not university) and a major advantage is earlier registration. He also took honors courses first semester and thought the profs were good. (This is different from UT engineering honors where there aren’t honors classes…one exception). He recently filled out the scholarship app for upperclassmen and it does ask if you are in honors. I’ll let you know if he receives $$.</p>
<p>Quick question about the Engineering Honors application. I’m trying to fill it out but it wants me to list my “TAMU Overall GPR”. I’m an incoming freshman, so what should I write?</p>
