i am a canadian citizen living in the US and have applied for Electrical Engineering in Mcgill, UfT, UBC, Waterloo, Queens, Macmaster, UWO

I have been accepted to UBC, Mcgill, and McMaster, still waiting on others...
since i have close to 0 info on good engineering programs in canada, can you guys please help me decide which is best (not to presume im admitted to all).
I plan on getting my grad degree here in the US so please keep that in mind.
Also, the environments of the schools and cities are my concern too

I don't know too many specifics about engineering, but Waterloo is really well-known for their maths and engineering. UofT is also a really big school with lots of funding, and it's located in a really nice city. If you want to go by reputation, waterloo has a huge reputation for engineering and math. Although, UofT shouldn't come too far behind Waterloo. Toronto's a much better place to live, I'd say, and it was ranked the #1 medical doctoral university in Canada by MacLean's.

yea, why is it so fast for Americans? I don't understand why it's so hard for them to make a decision for Canadians, especially Ontario students, when we're so close and when they should understand our system the best.

i think its because American schools also answer more sooner than canadian ones.. so they wanna make sure the US students give then consideration since were payin so much $$

I am a canadian and I would agree the waterloo is the place to go for engineering
watch out tho, its compulsary Coop meaning if u dont do coop u fail. so the program is 5 years
