Is it possible for an international student to get a 2-3 month internship in Engineering in the US? If so, which websites are good for these types of internships.

You may be able to get intership in a college but I doubt that you can intership in industries (unless you are studying in the US).
you can try diversityabroad.com. though used it for my MBA abroad, I believe they have internship programs. and yes, a little chance for you to have an internship from an engineering company right away, so try the school internship first and gain experience.
I’d agree with @boysilva my sister is under their program so is another forum member out there 
I can justify to their note I’m under their program try checking them out it. They’re pretty helpful.
