I want to do Pre-Med program, but also want to stay with an engineering major.
What is it? Biomedical engineering or chemical engineering
or biochemical engineering.

Which engineering has a better job replacement rate now and future?

Thanks a lot for advance for your comments.

biomedical

biochemical

not chemical

Chemical has historically sent a good number of students to med school. The reason is that it’s one of the few engineering majors that have the biology and o-chem requirements for med school as requirements for the engineering degree. Mechanical and Civil engineers have to waste electives on o-chem and bio.

If I had to rank them today:

Biomedical

Biochemical

Chemical (most schools have #2 and #3 combined these days)
