I just finished my junior year at a science magnet school with As in all my classes except for AP Calculus BC and AP Physics C (I received A minuses in both b/c of a fluke with the final exams)--is this bad if I am planning to apply as an engineering major? I know some of you h8rs out there are going to h8 and say that an A minus isn't all that bad, but do consider that I received my lowest marks in my math and science classes...

yes terrible. apply to nova. jk, you wont get in.

Princeton doesn’t expect you to get all A’s. Princeton expects you to take challenging classes and also be well rounded. There were some who did not get in with perfect GPA’s and SAT scores. There are many who got in with grades lower than an A-. Do what you enjoy and do it well. It will show in your application and essays.

I wouldn’t be surprised if your attitude has more of an influence on your decision than does your pair of A minuses. Lighten up.
