I am not aware of many other schools that have engineering physics. If my stats allow me to get into a school with these stats for engineering physics please comment the school. Thank you guys in advance.
My district is very competitive hence the low gpa. This is also due to poor grades freshman year.
In what state are you located?
They’ll all be reaches to high reaches.
Specifically, in regards, to UMich, the average GPA for the entire Class of 2023 was 3.9 uw and the CoE GPA will skew higher as will stats for OOS students. For the Class of 2022, the acceptance rate for all OOS applicants was 19%. The acceptance rate for OOS CoE students will be lower due to CoE’s lower enrollment when compared to LSA.
The only 3.7 uw GPA’s that I recorded here on CC was for in-state students and none for CoE. But again, stats for students on CC skew higher. And the sample size is small.
I am oos. Is it not less competitive for the engineering physics major?
Applicants apply to a UMich school such as LSA, CoE, Nursing, Dance/Theater, Kinesiology, etc., not a specific major within a school. You would declare your major by the end of your sophomore year. UMich is difficult admit from OOS (19% acceptance). The CoE would be even more difficult.
